Post Tommyleroy introducing myself
I am new to this forum but I have been building speakers for many years. I play upright bass in Jazz bands and bass guitar (which I built) in a Latin band. I built my first speaker cabinet 30 years ago with a JBL e140. I have made several stereo speaker kits and a Fearful 15 sub. I borrowed a 12/6 from a friend and now I realize I need one ! I also rent my bass for concerts here in Bend. An upcoming show has Buster Williams playing my bass so I am upping my game and using his signature La Bella tape wound strings and I would like to have my new cabinet done by then. I wish that I could modify the 12/6/1 to a tilt back form factor like the Fearless 112 so that I could use it as a personal monitor. Has anyone tried this? Obviously, I would maintain the same internal volume but add a diagonal corner. I look forward to exploring the Greenboy world, Thanks, Tommyleroy

Maybe build a simple frame to get a kickback angle on the box - versus having to rethink the design? Some such could come apart or be hinged to fold up so it was pretty small when hauling in and out.
