Post Hello From Pittsburgh!
Hi guys!

Haven't really played much over the past years except in a yearly reunion with my college band and have just rented a rig. I decided to put one together and thought I was just going to get something I knew (from my knowledge of the amp market from 25 years ago!). Then I came across GB stuff and decided it would be too cool to build a 12/6 or 15/6 to go with anything else so here I am. Looking forward to learning about building these cabs and putting one together. It will be a dad/kids project so it will be even cooler for me.

John

Hi John

Welcome to the forum.

As a 12/6 owner I would say start with a 12/6 (with 6" delta or deltalite) and plenty of watts (min 500 into 8 ohms) and you might not need anything else unless your band is stupid loud in which case go straight for the jugular with a 1515/66.

G'day & welcome, John!

Fred, don't you mean the Alpha or Alphalite? Or are you just distracted by your moniker? ;-)

Yep Alpha or Alphalite.

That's what I get for relying on my memory.

If you decide to build from the free plans please consider a modest donation to the site to keep things rolling.

Thanks

Thanks guys. Just bought an Eden WT-400 and have been reading through a ton of build threads. I am going to build from a flatpack but made a donation, I am sure I will get plenty of value from this site!
