Post Intro from DC/question on 12/6 build
Hello, I'm new here. I will be building a 12/6 for my Trickfish bullhead. Anybody use this combo?

I'm about to buy a 12/6 cube parts kit, and was wondering if I plan on adding a Tweeter and true crossover(in the future), should I get the hole pre drilled and find something to fill it with until I upgrade? Or should I deal with taking it apart to install it down the line?

Many thanks

Matt

Welcome!

If you build using the free plans please consider a modest donation to keep the web site going.

Thanks

Ya I'd get the hole cut and then line the outside of the tweet hole with speaker gasket tape or some such and cover with a small plywood plate - maybe ask for a scrap of ply suitable for that task when your order the kit? The drop from cutting the mid hole would probably suffice.

Thank you. I'm a supporter of anyone who authors open source material, no exceptions here.

I'll ask for the dropped wood from the Tweeter hole and do exactly that.

talk to em - something a tad larger that the tweet drop would be easier to work perhaps
